finding it hard to have patience with people who loves hearing themselves talk. annoyingly i'm acquainted with a couple and mostly guys, funny enough. heh. Those types who seldom asks you a question and if it happens and you answer with more than two sentences they'll only be waiting for you to end so they can continue expressing their cleverness. i'm sorry, i know i sound like an angry man hater, lol, i'm not, i can assure you. and i'm lucky to have guy friends who are great listeners. and of course all this comes from something..a situation or a couple of different ones. but i wont bore you with details. a good thing though is that those situations helps me reevaluate myself and ask the question; am i myself that much better at asking and listening than at talking?...hmm..

well, i'm here in dk again. got back friday. rain and grey clouds welcomed us home and hasn't left us since. people say its been like this almost the entire month. i'm glad i got to get away from it for a while. i'm very thankful for this trip. it hasn't been easy due to various reasons but it was all worth it. i learned a lot about myself and about god and i hope i've been used by him to bless others around me. i think what strikes me the most is how gods ways are so much higher than my ways, how i can have one idea of why i was going on this trip and slowly experiencing what god's intent was. and also how some things can seem hopeless and broken for good but then god takes it and restores it to something even deeper and more profound. ill post soon and tell of what we did and maybe ill post pictures..that is if i can fix my camera which broke only a couple of days into our stay.

so i definitely prefer being stabbed in arm several times rather than having the needle being gently injected into flesh once. got my last shot on wednesday and this time it was an elderly female doctor. she probably thought she was being nice and sensitive to us by poking us slowly and injecting the liquid taking her time when really she was dragging the pain. then on my way home from the doctor its pouring rain and i'm soaking wet already after first minute on bike. the only thing i'm thinking of is getting home as fast a possible, change clothes and relax. getting ready to cross the street right at the lakes, coming from down town - you know the big street with lots of cars and quite many bikes and my bike handle desides it cant take it anymore and slips of as i'm pulling it hard to get some speed on my bike as the ligt turns green. yes i fall. and yes i scream. an embarrassing girly scream and yes its in front of all the bikers behind me all eager to cross the street too. luckily i only got a bruise on my shin and nothing else. what a wonderful wednesday afternoon. leaving in 3 days and i've got all i need for the trip which is super nice since i thought i would have to use tomorrow and maybe some of monday on gathering the last items needed for such a trip. but that's not necessary now. i can relax and pack and hang out with family and friends. im blessed.
